The Island Series was introduced in 2007, and became an instant hit. Since then, new Island Series models have been added to the line. The Island Series is a more classic or traditional style putter line as opposed to the extremely popular Two Bar lines; but has many of the same technologies that make them uniquely a RIFE. Each putter is named after a Caribbean Island and comes with a colorful ocean blue and white color grip and headcover.

Like all putters from Rife the Barbados is Tour driven. Since its introduction on the PGA Tour late 2006, this oversized mallet putter has found its way into the bag of three of the top 50 players on the PGA Tour, each of whom have enjoyed immediate success (one as winner of the 2006 Australian Masters). The Barbados is designed to have a pleasing shape wrapped around a three line center cavity section creating a strong alignment aid. By moving the mass to the outer edges of the putter, Rife has made the Barbados extremely stable. It also features both RollGroove and LieAline technologies. As with all Rife putters the Barbados is 100% milled and made of mild 303 stainless steel.
